CHICAGO - MedBed has completed the first round of data gathering for the Clinical Rotation Finder Application. This means that all of the major hospitals and teaching institutions in the US have been entered for medical students to browse. All states have at least 1 rotation so far with the exception of Montana and Wyoming.
MedBed will be finishing up with Hawaii and Alaska shortly and the first round will be completed for the entire US. Once completed, MedBed will begin phase II by searching for smaller hospitals that host clinical rotations for medical students around the country. MedBed has started to receive some submissions from users of the application and welcomes all input for new links on the system.
The application does its best to not only give link information on the various clinical rotations, but also let students know what kind of students will be accepted: LCME students only or LCME and Foreign Students. The application links are checked at least once a month for accuracy so that we can keep the information useful for students.
